SERVICE
Since April 2006, Bandai Networks has been making the most of its content power, system building capability, solution technology, and expertise in a marketing business that provides Internet advertising proposals for mobiles and PCs, acquisition and provision of Internet advertising spots, and additional related solutions.
GAMOW
Launched in April 2006, "GAMOW" is a free entertainment site for mobile phones that provides a variety of content with the theme of "enriching the after-school life of junior and senior high school students". With not just ringtones and games, but also wallpaper and horoscopes, rankings, and entertainment information, this site provides the largest quantity and quality of content popular with junior and senior high school students in the history of free sites. Registered users can read and download any of the site content free of charge. Content such as ringtones, games, and so on can be downloaded in proportion to points collected by introducing friends or clicking on advertisements in emails received from GAMOW. In the future, by providing a community service based on member's posts and word of mouth, Bandai Networks aims to create a site that achieves effective Internet advertising.
askU.com
Operated by Bandai Network's subsidiary company, VIBE Inc., the word-of-mouth
restaurant guide for PCs, "askU.com", was launched in 2004. This guide is the pioneer
of restaurant word-of-mouth guides. It is based on reviews (word-of-mouth) and contains
more than 70,000 restaurants and approximately 400,000 reviews (as of December 2006).
As well as restaurant guide reviews, it also contains word-of-mouth information on items
such as Japanese sake brands and bread.
In the future, Bandai Networks aims to develop an integrated service that makes full
use of its strong mobile business and its achievements in producing entertainment content.
Circle Link
Circle Link is an information exchange site with more than 300,000 members, mainly
elementary and junior high school students, launched in November 2005.
At Circle Link, all kinds of posts are received every day from elementary and junior
high school students on topics such as "characters", "fashion and love", "entertainment".
These are selected and introduced by the editorial team. It has become a very popular
corner with more than 4,000 posts arriving every day. It also includes other fun content,
such as games using popular characters, avatar services, and diary releases.
In November 2006, with the aim of acquiring additional members, we launched an after
school information variety show in connection with the site, "Circle Link TV"
(free distribution http://link.channel.or.jp).
The show was released on Daini Nippon Television (The Second Nippon Television)
in collaboration with the Nippon Television Network Corporation.
Furthermore, in November 2006, we launched an Internet research service linked to the site
aimed at elementary and junior high school students, "Kids Research", in collaboration
with Net Mile Inc.
