A New Step Forward with Internet Advertising

Bandai Networks has built considerable know-how, including the ability to create content and propose ideas based on technology as well as strength in systems architecture. We now have a new opportunity to exploit this expertise. In April 2006, we launched a marketing business, specifically an Internet advertising business.

Targeting Junior High and High School Students

Another one of our strengths is the ability to attract new users. Drawing on high value-added content, advanced technological ability and strength in systems architecture, we have developed sites that are used by four million users. Based on the expertise we have developed leading up to this achievement, we launched a free entertainment advertising site we call GAMOW in April 2006. This site targets junior high and high school students who tend to have the deepest attachment to their mobile phones. Five months have passed since the launch and the site has attracted more than 150,000 members. It is already enabling effective Internet advertising.

A Large Number of Stores

A marketing/Internet advertising business needs stores that attract large numbers of users. We have developed stores with distinctive tastes in an array of genres. The stores include a gourmet information site called askU.com, a character portal LaLaBit, and a kids' community site Circle Link. We intend to encourage our users to stay within our diverse areas so that we can strengthen our stores.

Building an Entertainment Portal

The users feel most satisfied when they can get everything they want in one store. This holds true for networks as well. If all of our various content, goods and services can be enjoyed on one site, the experience will be more exciting for users. Games, music, movies and communities?everything is available here. It is our goal to make this a dream come true by establishing an entertainment portal.
